The size of the property is 5.3 acres and the mansion has 21 987 square feet. Property is well designed, having a large koi pond, stream, and a forest. Except that, there is an outdoor kitchen used for Hefner’s numerous parties.

The Playboy mansion has three floors and the master suite is located on the second and third floor, occupying multiple rooms. Playboy editorial offices occupied most of the rooms in the west wing.

Although Hugh Hefner decorated the house and had modern amenities and entertainment systems, he retained the original style.

He stated that his plan is to enjoy the properties as his private residence. There have been rumors about renting the property for events and private parties but according to Daren, his plans are different.
